Component owner on Epix/MGM+ - Roku project:
- Beginning as an intern focused on Roku application development, elevated to lead the team in one year.
- Implement complex features on a SceneGraph application, improving UX and navigation.
- Leading the Roku development team, mentoring team members, and making strategic decisions on implementation approaches.
- Designed and managed CI/CD pipelines, automating linting and unit tests, enhancing productivity by reducing manual work and giving back ~10 minutes/pr to developers.
- Initiated and executed end-to-end testing frameworks using Roku’s JavaScript library and WebDriver, reducing crashes from an 85% crash-free application to a 99.3% crash-free application.
- Migrated application from Brightscript to Scenegraph then to Brighterscript to use the latest capabilities.
- Reduced crashrate from 90% to 99.9% crashfree application.
- Achieved a ~20% reduction in code complexity through modularized components and reusable services.
Owner of RokuDataDog tracker:
- Open-source library that can track errors and show details about them in DataDog
